Enchanted Red Doorby ~vervex

I was hired to draw the cover of a novel by Zita Banasinski, "Julian's Enchanted Red Door". It's a children book about a door leading the hero, Julian, to another universe where he is a soccer champion.

It was really fun to draw and the client was very pleased with the result. She asked for it to be cartoonish, a request that I respected.

Ahah well since it's a Canadian book, it's better to call it soccer because people might get it confused with (american) football.
