I believe this picture speaks by itself. I tried to represent a reality which is hard to accept for many occidental as something beautiful. My goal was that people who will see this picture won't look at it with disgust, but with a kind of respect, humility.

And before somebody asks me... I am not Muslim and never intend to become one in this life or the ones to come. It doesn't fit my values.

It is awesome, especially eyes and lips, I really liked your artistry but if you were drawing a picture of a child ankle shackled with a ball and chain, it wouldn't be different for me, sorry, I can not see this beauty the way you see. I hope you don't get offended.

I'm not Muslim. I find it horrible to put a blanket on a child. But that doesn't mean I cannot draw it

what do you know about Islam to say that ?

On a more serious note, the veil of Islam refers to the Burqa. I thought the drawing was quite obvious but it seems I was wrong. Please, watch the actual drawings before commenting with crap okay? It would be nice.
